The recycled wood collection platform in Pordenone (WBF1) has been operational for the last three years, WBF2 in Pesaro will be active soon and WBF3 in Brianza is also planned.

Fantoni is strengthening its presence in the recycled wood supply chain with the launch of collection and sorting platforms distributed across the country. These hubs perform an initial quality sorting and volume reduction of material, mainly sourced from environmental multi-utilities and the industrial sector.
The WBF1 platform in Pordenone is already operational, active for three years, and serves as a reference point for the provinces of Pordenone and Treviso. It will soon be joined by WBF2 in Pesaro, scheduled to start in the early months of 2026, and WBF3 in Brianza is planned for a later date.
Strategically located near the furniture industry districts, these hubs represent the first step in transforming post-consumer wood into new panel materials. At these sites, the wood is sorted and prepared for delivery to the Osoppo plant, which currently receives 450,000 tons of recycled wood annually for particleboard and MDF production. Transport is handled by the subsidiary Natolino, which has invested—and continues to invest—not only in low-environmental-impact tractors but also in “walking floor” trailers, enabling panels to be transported outbound and recycled wood on the return trip.
The expansion of these platforms is therefore an integral part of a strategy aimed at consolidating an autonomous, efficient, and fully circular supply chain.
