SustainabItaly: sustainability and Italian design displayed at the Wolfsonian Museum of Miami

“SustainabItaly encompasses the perfect mix to highlight the essence of the showcased design objects: to be equally sustainable and proudly made in Italy.”

This is how the Consulate General of Italy in Miami presented the new exhibition, specifically organized with The Wolfsonian–FIU for the Miami Art Basel event.

The exhibition, inaugurated on December 4th, features Italian manufactured goods that constitute a unique combination of beauty, functionality and sustainability and represent the Italian effort in fighting the global challenges posed by the pandemic.

As suggested by the Architect Luisa Bocchietto, who curated the exhibition, the name “SustainabItaly” merges in one single word the two different goals of the displayed designs. Here, indeed, Italianness and sustainability give up all their self-aggrandizing meanings in order to identify and recognize themselves in a single project.

A project, the SustainabItaly one, in which the Fantoni Group really recognizes itself as well and to which is happy to give its contribute with its radiant and sound-absorbent module Climacustic.

This radiant, sound-absorbent modular system is the only one in the world to combine thermal comfort, energy efficiency, sound quality, and innovative design. It can be used on walls or ceilings, for heating or cooling, and, as asked by the LEED requirements, ensures the health and safety of the environments.
